A 70s costume just would not be complete without the shoes and if you want to be as authentic as possible they have to platforms. Now when I first started throwing my 70s parties you could not find genuine 70s platform shoes and it was only with the advent of Ebay that they started popping up but unfortunately, with the supply and demand, the prices were extortionate. Luckily for us now the fancy dress guys have realised and started producing some really cool 70s platforms for us in some groovy styles too.
